About us

At Jack Simpson House, we understand the importance of feeling truly at home.

Situated in the heart of Heavitree, near Exeter city centre, our privately owned care home offers a warm, welcoming environment for up to 35 residents. We provide high-quality residential and dementia care, with personalised support for older people, those with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and a variety of health conditions including Parkinson’s, stroke, and COPD.

Our compassionate, experienced staff are trained to care for residents at all stages of dementia and work closely with local GPs, dietitians, physiotherapists, and other health professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.

The home has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and accessibility in mind—featuring spacious lounges, cosy sitting areas, wide corridors, lift access to all floors, and a lovely, secure garden where residents can relax and enjoy the fresh air.

We welcome visits from family and friends at any time, and are pleased to offer trial stays to help you decide if we’re the right place for you or your loved one.

At Jack Simpson House, care is not just what we do—it’s who we are.
